› Companionship:

Whether it’s conversation and company, or just eating a meal together, having someone to sit and visit with can help make for a happier, healthier life.

› Meal Preparation:

Many seniors do not have the opportunity to eat a well-balanced meal. Our professional caregivers are trained to prepare hot meals that are both nutritious and delicious. Healthy eating promotes healthy living, and that is what we strive to achieve.

› Housekeeping:

A clean home is a happy home. Our caregivers understand the importance of sanitary living and are committed to doing everything possible to keep you in a clean living environment. Includes: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, appliances, taking out the trash, straightening all rooms, organizing closets and drawers, cleaning any interior windows that can be reached without a ladder, etc.

› Errand Services:

Caregivers can run errands such as picking up drug prescriptions, going to the post office, going shopping, etc. If you need it done, we will do it.

› Grocery Shopping:

Caregivers will shop with or without the client accompanying them. They can shop at any store the client prefers and can use any coupons provided.

› Transportation:

Our caregivers will accompany clients on trips to doctor appointments, beauty salons / barbershops, shopping, and wherever else the client wishes to go. Part of healthy living is being able to explore the world. Continuous exposure to the outdoors is good for the mind, body and soul.

› Laundry Service:

Many seniors lack the strength to do their own laundry. Our caregivers are trained to do the best job possible to ensure that your clothes are clean and fresh. Laundry services can be done in either the client’s home or the local Laundromat.

› Recreational Activities:

We understand the importance of sustaining an interesting and active life. Whether it’s enjoying a game of cards, board games, or a walk in the park, Alleva Home Care can help our clients stay active in mind, body, and spirit within the confines of their homes or outdoors.

› Grooming and Dressing:

We can help button buttons, tie shoes, put on socks, wash & comb hair, etc.

› Incoming Mail Arrangement:

Mail sorting can be a confusing task. Our caregivers can assist the client in separating the junk mail from the important mail, and let them know when their bills are due.

› 24 Hour Care:

For those clients who can’t be left alone, we can be there 24 hours a day.

› Personal Hygiene Maintenance:

Bathing is vital to an individual’s sense of well-being. It refreshes the soul, provides relaxation while cleansing the skin and stimulating circulation.

› Mobility and Motion Exercise:

Activity and exercise are vital to a healthy lifestyle. The benefits of movement to both physical and mental health are seen in everyday life. Those individuals who keep a physically active lifestyle tend to benefit by increasing stamina, strengthening the heart, lowering blood pressure, improving digestion and sleep.

› Transferring and Positioning:

Moving or placing a person into a correct posture position encourages the functional activity of the body’s many systems. It assists in eliminating pressure areas on the skin, reducing atrophy and stiffening of muscles, encourages proper breathing, digestion, and elimination.

› Incontinence Care:

The inability to control urination or defecation is embarrassing to individuals and can become unsanitary if not taken care of correctly. Our caregivers understand the sensitivity of this situation and approach it in an effective and dignified manner.

› Medication Reminders:

Alleva Home Care provides only non-medical care. For that reason, our caregivers are not allowed to administer medications, but can assist our clients by opening the medication containers, reading labels to ensure the correct medication and dosage are taken, or to simply remind clients that it’s time to take the medication.

› Feeding:

Many seniors have a difficulty accepting assistance, especially after being independent for most of their lives. Our caregivers understand the feelings this can cause and always make the extra effort to make the environment at mealtime special.

› Toileting:

Elimination is an important and normal bodily function. However, it is usually an activity that is private and one that is not openly discussed with others. It is easy to assume that an individual feels embarrassed when being assisted with this function; however, our caregivers strive to provide an acceptable, comfortable and safe environment for all types of toileting needs.

Supplemental Staffing:

Alleva Home Care is mindful of the fact that sometimes health and child care organizations have limited staff to provide necessary services to its patients or residents effectively and with a peace of mind. We take great care in our hiring process, carefully evaluating each candidate’s credentials through extensive testing, training and criminal background and employment verifications. Furthermore, because Alleva Home Care guarantees the quality of its caregivers and retains all payroll and benefit responsibilities, while assuming all professional liabilities, our staffing program can lead to significant savings in human capital costs to any health and child care organization that takes advantage of this program.

In addition to our Supplemental Staffing program, Alleva Home Care now offers clients a choice of using agency caregivers and hiring them directly, with our Caregiver Connection Program. We guarantee the quality of our candidates, who have been tested and preselected to ensure that their strengths and personal traits are commensurate to our clients’ needs. Clients do not incur any fees during the selection process. Once a caregiver is selected and their rate is established, clients pay a placement fee equivalent to a percentage of the caregiver’s first monthly salary. Alleva Home Care also offers payroll calculating assistance to those who choose to elect that service for a nominal monthly fee.

Rates:

We believe that home care should not be a luxury, but a necessity available to anyone who needs it. Therefore, we offer our clients affordable and competitive rates to allow them to preserve their independent lifestyle without having to sacrifice usual comforts. Unlike most agencies, our rates are based on a sliding scale and exponentially decrease at each interval. Invoices for services rendered are sent on a semi-monthly basis. Payment plans may be negotiated. We accept the following forms of payment to better serve you:

Rates:

• 0-3 hours: $25-$27 per hour
• 4-8 hours: $23-$25 per hour
• 9+ hours: $20-$22 per hour
• Overnight: $185 per shift
• Live-in: $250-$300 per day
Rates are determined upon completion of assessment.

All licensing rights to publish and redistribute completed songs, DVDs, Sheet Music, and other creative materials belong to clients upon purchase and delivery of the final product.

About the Composer:

Barry Fasman is one of Hollywood’s most enduring music producers, arrangers, composers, conductors and recording artists. With eight platinum and gold albums and a 25-year history, Mr. Fasman’s expansive credits include projects with some of the most respected names in popular music. Mr. Fasman is particularly attuned to the development of emerging artists and is well-versed in a wide variety of musical styles, ranging from orchestral film scores, radio-ready pop, modern country, world music and beat-driven R&B. In an ever-shifting business landscape, Mr. Fasman has remained relevant and credible for two and a half decades — a favorite of directors, producers, musicians, and artists alike.
As a producer, Mr. Fasman has worked closely with Stephen Stills of Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, Kenny G., Stephen Bishop, Jodie Foster, Kurtis Blow, Don Johnson, and Dan Brown, author of The DaVinci Code. He produced six albums of songs for the hit TV Series Fame, selling over four million albums worldwide, and garnering the British Record Producer of the Year award.
